Simon Cowell just revealed his “dream” for his son, Eric, to take over America’s got talent.
The 65-year-old music mogul, who shares HI 11-year-old with partner Lauren Silverman, marked 20 years since the reality show began.
Simon expressed that he cannot see a future where the Talent Show series is not broadcast, at least for another two decades and hopes his family is the one who continues the inheritance as a performer.
“I am looking at the next 20 years of this show – where is it going next time?” he told me PEOPLE magazine.
“And because it’s so open to someone, I really have this feeling that whether it’s me or whether it’s Eric, my son, you want a conversation with us in 20 years and say, ‘Well, how was the 40th anniversary?’ Because I can’t imagine this show not on now, ”Simon added.
In addition, the TV star also suggested that Eric might just be interested in following his father’s footsteps.
When asked if he has talked to his young son about working on America’s Got Talent, He replied, “I haven’t really had that conversation. I’ve hinted it.”
“Fortunately like me, he loves these kinds of shows, which is a good start. I think he would actually be a really good producer,” concluded Simon Cowell.
