A 16-year-old swimmer has sat down at the Los Angeles 2028 Los Angeles Olympics Radar after crushing a record of 2025 US Swimming Championships Wednesday, previously held by Michael Phelps.
Every time Phelps’ name comes into play in the pool, you know it’s a great business considering the American 28 Olympic medals (23 gold), which is a record at all times.
But Luka Mijatovic took a record away from Phelps after sending a 200-meter freestyle time of 1: 45.92, which not only crushed the age group of 15-16 years (1: 47.29), but also the 17-18 age group that Phelps had.

Phelps swam it on 1: 45.99, but Mijatovic just knocked him out on his last lap.
Summer -ol -Affiliation to Los Angeles is still three years away, but Mijatovic is definitely someone to look after his performance.

Mijatovic has built up to this moment, after completing first in both 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle on California Interscholastic Federation State Championships in May.

He is one of the top ranked swimmers in high school, and he is currently ranking first in the state of California.
High Schools were surrounded by some Olympians already on the swimming championship, which began on Tuesday.
Torri Remember, Bobby Finke, who already won the event’s men’s 1500 meters freestyle, and the talented Katie Ledecky was among those competing in Indianapolis.

These championships are for swimmers to earn a place in the World Cup, held in Singapore in July and August.
