Michelle Beadle admitted to being blind -sided by news that one of Stephen A. Smith’s new programs launched in September will take over her time game on Siriusxm Mad Dog Sports Radio.

Beadle said it was “a little embarrassing” to learn her show, “Beadle and Decker,” with Cody Decker, will not be broadcast at the same time from 1 p.m. 12-3 one every weekday due to Smith participating in the show rotation.

“Yes, so the cat is out of the bag. I assume we’re talking about it,” Beadle said during the show’s episode on Wednesday.

“We shouldn’t, like a heads up. We only got a few hours’ notice, but we didn’t know any details. We were promised that no details would not be released. We didn’t even know who took our place in the lineup, just to be announced that a new show was added.”

Beadle added that she found out what happened through the Hollywood Reporter’s details of Smith, who joined Siriusxm.

“Of course, the Hollywood reporter had all the details,” Beadle said. “So it was a little embarrassing. I don’t want to lie. I’ve been in this business for 20-plus years. I’ve been treated badly a few times. This didn’t feel good. I won’t be lying.”

During his time on the air, Beadle never mentioned Smith, who works for his former employer, ESPN. Beadle hosted the network’s “NBA Countdown” before leaving the network in 2019.

Beadle also hosts Fanduel TV’s “Run It Back”, which is an NBA-focused program.

Smith announced he would join Siriusxm on a multi -year deal during a performance at “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday. He is scheduled to start September 2nd with his acquisitions of the biggest sports topics, while having another show that will be his takeover of “weekly current events, pop culture” and more. This show has not announced a debut date yet.

“To say I’m excited, would be an understatement,” Smith said of his deal with Siriusxm, according to the New York Post. “I’ve been on food though before, had the time in my life. So I love the fact that I get to reunite with my guy, food though, on his grass course. That in itself is a beautiful thing. But adding a weekly show where I have a potent platform to discuss nitring topics in the world of pop culture, politics and social comment … Let’s just say it doesn’t get better than it.
