Rahul’s ‘Surrender’ Comment draws Fierce BJP ADD.
Sudhanshu Trivedi calls Inc leader “Rahul Munir” and “Rahul Sharif”.
Congress questions affect foreign visits from parliamentarians.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of an act equivalent to “no less than betrayal” after describing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy as an “surrender” after Operation Sindoor reported Indian media.
On Wednesday, BJP President JP Nadda on X (formerly Twitter) announced that Gandhi’s remarks were an insult to the Indian armed forces and similar to repeating Pakistani propaganda, “… called the unmatched talor and against the Indian army an ‘surrender’ is not only unfortunate, but also a self -insulting for the Indian army, the national national effort.”
“This is no less than betrayal,” Nadda added. “Rahul Gandhi, you, your party and your leaders may have surrendered because this has been your story but Bharat never surrenders.”
In a series of sharp positions, Nadda accused the Congress of an inheritance of capitulation: “Surrender is in your party congress’s dictionary, it is in your DNA … you surrendered to terrorism, surrendered in Sharm-Al-Sheikh, surrendered at the table in Shimla after winning the war in 1971.
When he repeated Nadda’s feelings, BJP National spokesman Sudhanshu Trivedi attacked the attack on a press conference, Branding Gandhi as “Rahul Munir” and “Rahul Sharif” and claimed to congress leader
BJP’s counter -offensive came in response to increasing criticism from Congress and other India blocking parties over the Indian government’s handling of foreign affairs, Pahagam -Terroris attack and what they see as an opaque and manipulated narrative of Operation Sindoor.
On Wednesday night, Congress Member Jairam Ramesh took social media to target the government’s global outreach initiative. With reference to the Minister of External Affairs (EAM), Ramesh wrote: “Tomorrow is the unusually low-profile EAM meetings with some MP delegations that have returned. Hope there will be an honest assessment of what was actually achieved-not what was spin-documed.”
“There are reliable reports that welcome in some countries was very lukewarm – to put it mildly – and that the political value of the people met by MPs were under par. Videos of MPs who engaged in the silly fun and romp while on a serious national mission, have also risen.”
Earlier that day, Ramesh had criticized the government’s planning of the upcoming Monsun parliamentary session and called it a tactic to avoid summoning a special session as required by the opposition.
“Never before in India’s parliamentary history has a session announced 47 days in advance,” he said.
“Why was Operation Sindoor suddenly stopped after four days? Why did President Trump repeat 12 times in 20 days that the ceasefire happened because of him? These are the questions the prime minister does not want to answer.”
The Union Parliamentary Minister Kiren Rijiju had announced that the Monsun session begins on July 21 and continues until August 12. It will be the first session since Operation Sindoor.
Demand for a special session was also reinforced by the Samajwadi Party MP, Rajeev Rai, who was part of an all-party delegation sent by India recently visited five country-Russia, Slovenia, Greece, Latvia and Spain.
“PM should have called the special session of themselves,” Rai told Ani. “In 1962, when the war against China was at its peak, the first time MP Atal Bihari had vajpayee demanded a special session in the middle of the war. Nehru Ji had called the special session when … We followed ‘Rashtra Dharma’, but the government was to follow ‘Raj Dharma’. ‘
Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday repeated the opposition’s call to a special session to tackle the most important national concerns, including the Pahagam attack.
Adding fuel to the fire claimed Congress leader Pawan Khera that India was isolated diplomatic after surgery. “In the Modi government, all policies in the country are run by Trold, and foreign policy abroad is administered by someone who has surrendered,” he posted on social media.
He claimed that India’s diplomatic status was weakened, referring to Kuwait’s steps to lift visa restrictions on Pakistan and its subsequent agreement with Pakistan on work issues. “That’s why they say -” Name Narendra, Work Surrender, “Khera wrote.
