Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Chief of Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and senior members in his cabinet, Umrah performed late Thursday night during an official visit to Saudi -Arabia.

The high -profile visit made on invitation from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasizes the strengthening ties between Islamabad and Riyadh in the midst of growing regional and economic cooperation.

In a rare gesture, the door to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah was specifically opened to the visiting Pakistani delegation. The leaders offered Nawafil beans and expressed gratitude for what they described as the success of “Bunyan-Ul-Marsoos,” a reference to ongoing efforts on national unity and resilience.

During the Holy Pilgrimage Journey, the Prime Minister and his delegation also offered special thanks for recent development in Pakistan’s economic and social sectors. A connection to the nation’s continued prosperity and stability was given.

The Pakistani leadership also asked for well -being in oppressed Muslim communities around the world with a special mention of the people of Kashmir and Palestine.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by key ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of the Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar.

The visit marks another chapter in Pakistan’s long-standing relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, built on common religious, cultural and strategic interests.
