Fortnite Galactic Battle is now ending and culminating with a live event later today (June 7). Death Star Sabotage gets rid of this Star Wars minis season, as the tasks players jumping into X-Wings and Tie Fighters for a space match. This will hopefully lead into some downtime for the next season, which is expected to be Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.
Fortnite Galactic Battle – Key Info
Epic games have been busy teasing the next season of Fortnite Over the past week or so, but so far we have only had details of the live event that will start later today. If early signs are something to go on, the upcoming Star Wars Live event in Fortnite May be a real highlight of Chapter 6 so far. We’re going to fly some x-wings, take down Death Star and save the island from certain devastation.
Personally I’ve had it Fortnite Galactic battle where Blaster-Kun Weapon Pool is a refreshing change from the norm. I have dropped in as the Star Wars updates have released, checked the new Battle Pass skins and tested the new Star Destroyer portals. In my opinion, the recent changes have been absolutely good enough to hold Fortnite In Techradar’s best free play list.

Fortnite Death Star Sabotage Start Date and Time
Fortnite Death Star Sabotage Live Event starts today (June 7) at. 11.00 PT / 14:00 ET / 19:00 BST. The event itself enters the discovery section two hours before this, which means it will be available to attend the following times:
- Us (the west coast): 9:00 pt
- USA (East Coast): 12:00 ET
- UK: 17:00 bst
- Europe: 18:00 CEST
Fortnite next season release date and time
Epic games are not yet detailed in the next season of FortniteBut we expect it to arrive after downtime when the live event has ended. Previously, downtime lasted an average of 2-5 hours, but has run much longer between chapters. As such we could expect Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 to play on June 7 at some point, though we need more info before we can be safe.
Fortnite NEXT SEASON DOWNTIME ESTIMAT
Epic games are not yet detailed Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, though we expect it to arrive after downtime. This downtime will kick in after Death Star Sabotage Live Event has ended. In previous seasons, this has been just 30 minutes after the live event has started. As such, my prediction for when downtime will take Fortnite Offline is June 7 at. 12 PT / 15:00 ET / 20:00 BST.
Of course, this is just an estimate based on how things have worked in the past. Keep an eye on updates later today when I hear more from epic games.
What to expect from the next Fortnite season
Official details of the next season of Fortnite are currently scarce but some prominently leaks have claimed that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 will be superhero -theme. In this tweet from @hypex you can see that superman -skins are leaked. This would make sense as a bond to the new movie coming out later in July.
Elsewhere, we have Leaker @shiina Tweeting of an overview of the recent leaks for Chapter 6, which also points to a superhero theme coming in the next update. Of course, these details are by no means confirmed, but I have found that these two sources are reliable in the past, especially in the days leading up to a new season launch. We will have to wait and see if rumors of a “super” season are going to perform.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Card Changes
As you can see from the picture above, there were four new large pois (points of interest) added together with Fortnite Galactic Battle. While Epic is not yet revealing the map for Chapter 6 Season 3, we can expect these Star Wars locations to change. Whether they return to their Season 2 states or are updated along with the new season’s theme, it will be revealed later today.
