Seven-time Olympic Gold Medal Simone Biles Received hard setbacks on social media after the gymnastics star was saved with the former 12-time NCAA All-American Swimmer Riley Gaines about the debate about transking athletes competing in girls and women’s sports.
Gaines, one earlier University of Kentucky Swimmer and current Outkick contributor and host of the podcast “Gaines for Girls” went to X Friday to call the Minnesota State High School League for posting a photo of the new state champions, Champlin Park High School.

In response to Gaines’ criticism of the post, Biles issued a message that called Gaines “really sick” over her attitude towards Trans athletes. She even launched a personal attack on Gaines.
“You are really sick, all this campaign because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser,” said Biles, referring Gaines, competing against former Upenn -Swimming Lia Thomas in 2022 Ncaa Championships.

“You need to lift the trans community and maybe find a way to do sports inclusive or create a new avenue where Trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category is in all sports !! But instead … you bully them … One thing is definitely no one in sports is safe with you around !!!!!”

The position was viral on social media where Biles added another post, “bullying someone your own size, which ironically would be a man.”
But Biles, the most decorated gymnast in the story – a feat she achieved at Paris -ol, faced hard setbacks for her comments on social media.
Many on social media also pointed out Biles’ call for open categories in all sports.
In 2022, World Aquatics, the International Steering Body of Swimming, updated its eligibility policy to effectively ban transnry athletes from competing in women’s events. The following year, the organization launched and debuted an open category at the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Berlin.

Biles is an 11-time Olympic Medalist. She has 30 medals in the World Cup, including a record 23 gold. She has not responded to social media after her first positions aiming for Gaines.
