- KitchenAid Pure Power Blender can be purchased now in the US
- It is competitive priced for a jug blender in full size to $ 129.99
- It can crush ice and is suitable for hot ingredients thanks to its steam valve
KitchenAid has launched a new blender that can mix hot and cold ingredients and has a surprisingly tasty price tag. KitchenAid Pure Power Blender can now be purchased directly from KitchenAid for $ 129.99 (about £ 100 / AU $ 200).
That’s pretty much what I would expect to pay for a portable smoothie maker from similar by Nutribullet or Ninja, and half the price of the best rated model in our Roundup of the best blenders, Braun Triforce Power Blender.
Despite its low MSRP, KitchenAid Pure Power blends a full-size device with a 68 OZ / 1.8-liter jug, large enough to whip up a family of four. It is especially suitable for making soup thanks to a steam valve, which means it is safe to mix hot ingredients from the oven or pan.
The blender’s asymmetrical blades are strong enough to crush ice, and according to KitchenAid, the engine is strong enough to handle frozen fruit for smoothies and slushes. From my experience of testing blenders, I have found that frozen strawberries are the hardest to mix, so I am interested in seeing how well the pure power blender handles these hard little customers.
Easy cleaning
The pure effect blender has a control -watching disk on the front that allows you to adjust the speed of the blades so you can create a chunky salsa or super smooth mayonnaise, and there are three presets available when touching a button: smoothie, ice cock and clean (just add water and a drop of dish soap to the edge, run the cycle and then rine it out).
KitchenAid Pure Power Blender is now available in Matt Black and launched in extra colors in July. I do not yet have details of its prices and accessibility outside the US, but I will keep you updated as soon as I know more.
