US Gymnastics (USAG) could be the next major US sports management body to change its policies to allow trans athletes to compete with women.
The organization made a statement to Pakinomist Digital, which addresses why its site pages for its transient eligibility policies and resources were deleted.
“In May, USAG removed its policy to assess compliance with the current legal landscape,” the statement states.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on February 5 to ban trans athletes from women’s sports, and US fence has already been subjected to federal control over its rules that let men compete with women.
Usag’s previous policies were highly allowed for biological men who wanted to compete in the women’s category.
One of the deleted web pages was a message of November 2020 that the organization would no longer require trans -athletes to undergo the award of sex, legal sex recognition and hormone therapy to compete in the gender category where they choose.
The organization also had previous resources and guidelines for trans athletes on its website, but these pages have also been deleted.
USAG was thrown into the limelight this past weekend after the Olympic legend Simone Biles got mass production to attack the former NCAA swimmer and conservative influencer Riley Gaines. Biles called Gaines “Really Sick” and suggested Gaines is the size of a man after Gaines pointed out that a Minnesota High School If Softball Team won a State Championship on Friday with a transgender cane and that Minnesota’s High School League disabled comments on an X -post of the message.
Biles has since issued a public apology for his comments against Gaines.
In general, the US public has become more universal against letting Trans -athletes compete in women’s sports in the last year.
ONE New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transnry athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% biological men who identify themselves as women said should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports. Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democratic, 67%said transnry athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.

Other large Team USA sports management bodies have calmly changed their transient policies in the midst of increasing resistance to trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports.
US Track and Field (USATF) Official policy for transsexual eligibility Now refers the world’s athletics guidelines on its official web page. USATF previously referred to the International Olympic Committee (IOC )’s policy, as seen in an archive via Wayback machine.
The IOC allows biological men to compete in the women’s category, while World Athletics prohibits any athlete who has undergone male puberty from competing as a woman.
US fence announced in April that it is preparing to change its gender eligibility policy following a viral protest from Women’s Fencer Stephanie Turner Sparkled mass transport and federal intervention by protesting against a trans opponent.
The organization said it is preparing to change its current policies It allows biological men to compete with women and girls in case it is “forced” to change them.

“In the event that the US fence is forced to change its current attitude in accordance with supervisory bodies or federal legislation, the new political states must, athletes competing in the US hencing-sanctioned tournaments compete according to their biological gender,” the announcement reads.
The proposed updated policy ensures that the women’s category “will only be open to athletes of the female gender.” The category of the gentlemen “will be open to all other athletes who are otherwise eligible for competition.”
Now, USA gymnastics is entering the wave of changes as Team USA as a whole could have a very different set of rules in time for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics compared to previous years.
