Chargers Kicker Cameron Dicker felt about Harbaugh’s ability to connect with players and his authenticity.

“It’s funny. It’s funny that he loves you as your own parents love you. So he’s extremely real, which is really fun for all of us. But man you never know what you want to get,” Dicker told Pakinomist Digital Weml Members.

“He has some funny things that he says at meetings, the same thing (he does) with the media. So what you see is the way he is with us. It’s great.”

Last season, chargers went 11-6 and played playoffs in Harbaugh’s first season. They lost 32-12 in the AFC Wild-Card round of Houston Texans.

Dicker said chargers need “to have fun together” to get over the hump. The 25-year-old kicker said his coach is doing just that.

“I think it’s coming together again. To bring the team together (and) give us the opportunity to have fun together. I think that’s what Jim Harbaugh is doing. We saw that year with him,” Dicker said.

“He unites a team. Everyone is having fun around him. He is a funny weird guy. He’s amazing, a very real guy who is incredible. Also brings the real person you are out. And he tries to attack every day. He’s amazing.”

Last season, Dicker made 33 out of 36 extra points attempts and 39 of 42 field target attempts.

Dicker usually does most of the kick in his home stadium, Sofi Stadium, but that is changing.

Sofi Stadium is one of the 16 host stadions for next year’s World Cup, and Dicker is excited about it.

“The atmosphere, it will be incredible. I think it adds another level when you bring in international fans when you bring (humans) who just re -break their countries. It gets … so exciting. I’m pumped,” Dicker said.
