Islamabad:
In a touching view of Goodwill, a Chinese company brought joy and hope of underprivileged children by donating important supplies to an Islamabad orphanage that marked a special celebration of International Children’s Day.
China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (CSCEC) Pakistan branch expanded a helping hand to Islamabad China-Pakistan One Heart Step and Cure Home (ICOSH), gifts worth RS2 Million, including school articles, daily necessities, sports equipment and electrical devices.
The contribution aims to improve the living conditions and educational opportunities for children at the facility.
ICOSH was established in 2023 by Beijing One Heart Sphere Charity Foundation and China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community (CPYEC) and initially focused on helping critically ill Pakistani patients seeking medical treatment in the capital.
Over time, it has been extended to a refuge for disabled and seriously ill children, while also delivering full -time care to 21 orphans, Gwadar Pro reported on Tuesday. Since the beginning of May 28, 2023, ICOSH has supported over 130 orphans and children suffering from serious illnesses. The latest contribution from the Chinese company emphasizes the elaborate friendship between China and Pakistan, which reflects the spirit of common compassion and mutual support.
The donation ceremony participated by Yang Guangyuan, ministerial adviser for the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, who expanded Warm Children’s Day greetings to the young residents.
“It’s an honor to take part in this meaningful initiative,” Yang said. “We hope this event marks a new chapter in elaborating on China-Pakistan humanitarian cooperation and inspires more social forces to contribute to this noble case.” By tackling the event, Wang Yaodong, CEO of CSCEC Pakistan, highlighted the company’s long -standing commitment to social responsibility together with infrastructure development.
Children at Icosh also celebrated Children’s Day with special activities and enjoyed games and performances in a festive atmosphere.
