- High update frequency and color accuracy supporting complex visual workflows
LG Electronics is expanding its B2B display offerings with the launch of Ultrafine 40WT95UF, a new 40-inch curved business surveillance targeted at corporate customers in financing, IT and other data-located sectors.
The monitor has a 5K2K resolution (5120×2160) with a 21: 9 -picture ratio and is the first view of its kind that supports Thunderbolt 5.
The screen uses an IPS black panel with a contrast ratio in 2000: 1, supports up to 450 nits lighting and offers Displayhdr 600 certification. It supplies 95.0% to 99.0% coverage of DCI-P3 color spreads and a 5MS response time.
Two Thunderbolt 5 -Ports
An update speed of 120Hz and AMD Freesync Premium should help keep visual output smooth, making the screen useful for both data analysis and visual content tasks.
Ultrafine 40WT95UF offers professionals an extended digital work area suitable for working with large data sets or multiple applications. Image-in-image and image-for-image features make it possible to view more input simultaneously without the need for another screen.
LG says financial analysts can see dashboards and diagrams together, while IT professionals can more easily control code, timelines or development environments.
Connection options include two Thunderbolt 5 ports, one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, a USB-C upstream, four USB-C 3.2 downstream, two USB-A 3.2 downstream, an RJ45 port and a headphone out.
Thunderbolt 5 supports up to 80 GBPS data transfer and 96W power supply. Support for daisy-chaining allows for simpler setups and fewer cables.
“LG is obliged to develop advanced screens and integrated IT solutions that meet the developing needs of corporate customers,” said Ys Lee, head of IT business at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company.
“We will continue to offer the industry’s leading screens tailored to each sector’s unique requirements, as well as a wide range of IT products designed to increase productivity across industries.”
