Unidentified Miscreans targeted the residence of special assistant to the prime minister of tribal affairs MNA Mubarak Zeb with a rocket in the early hours on Saturday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwas Bajaur District.
According to police, a rocket was fired at MNA’s residence; However, no injuries were reported.
By going to his X -Handle, the Prime Minister’s help said: “Once again, my house was attacked by misunderstandings during the night with a rocket. Thank goodness, there is no injuries.”
It is relevant to mention here that it was the second attack on the residence of the Prime Minister’s aid over the past two months. Last month, an improvised explosion device (IED) had detonated outside his residence and partially damaged the house.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has heavily condemned the rocket attack at Zeb’s residence.
According to a spokesman, the prime minister expressed deep concern about the incident and thanked the Almighty Allah that no loss of life occurred during the attack.
He said that such acts of violence were unacceptable and aimed to destabilize peace in the region.
The premiere also ordered the relevant authorities to conduct an immediate and thorough examination of the incident.
Shehbaz also ordered the rapid arrest of those involved in the attack emphasized that the perpetrators must be brought to court without delay.
The Prime Minister repeated the government’s decision to eliminate terrorism and ensure the security and security of public representatives and citizens across the country.
