Caitlin Clark shook the rust pretty quickly.
This year’s reigning WNBA -Rookie plays in her first game in three weeks after suffering a quad injury against reigning champion New York Liberty last month -the same team that her Indiana fever plays on Saturday.
Clark exploded for 14 points in the first quarter, with nine of them coming in a 38-second period.

Clark began his colleague Indiana star Reggie Miller impression by hitting a three-point with 1:26 back in the first quarter.
New York’s Marine Johnson replied with a three of her own, but Clark responded right back with another triple 21 seconds after her first.
Natasha Cloud of the Liberty couldn’t find her three-pointer to fall, and with the warm hand he heed up another who found the bottom of the net with 43.1 seconds left in the first one.
The hot stripe lasted only so long as she missed another three approx. 14 seconds later, but the shooting brought the fever back to within two points against the best team in WNBA.

However, Clark just got back into swing with things and hit each of his next three three-Pointers. She had 25 points at the break.
Indiana went 2-3 in Clark’s absence and beat both the Washington Mystics and Chicago Sky.

Clark average 19 points, 9.3 assists and six rebounds in four games this season that came in on Saturday, but the first issue is already going up.
At half, the fever led 9-0 Liberty, 53-50.
