Bobrovsky stopped 19 of the 21 shots he was facing, which made some important savings when needed, and was helped by Lockdown Defense who took ice away from Oilers.
Marchand, Bennett and Sam Reinhart delivered the violation. Marchand joined Mario Lemieux as the only players of the last half century who scored five-Plus goals in one last several times, and his 13 career goals in the final are the most among active players.
“I just enjoy every moment,” said Marchand, who is in his fourth final and third since I won the cup with Boston in 2011.

Connor McDavid scored his first goal in the series after Oilers fell behind 3-0. Reinharts came 46 seconds later to restore the Panthers’ three-goal lead, and when Corey Perry scored 3:13 back, it was too late.
The Eetu Luostarin sealed it with an empty night with 1:19 back, and sounded the once fired the audience for a last time.
“We just have to play our game earlier,” said Oiler’s defender Darnell Nurse. “We can all agree with our room that we can be better.”
Edmonton’s Power Play went 0 for 3, a product of Panthers’ aggressive criminal murder that knocked McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the rest of the upper unit out of their usual rhythm.
Calvin Pickard lost for the first time in eight starts in the spring, allowing four goals of 18 shots. He got nodded over Stuart Skinner after participating in relief and winning Game 4 to improve to 7-0, a record now 7-1.

Skinner could be back to Games 6, with Panthers aiming to close things after another transverse continental trip back to the second corner of North America. They are in this place after jumping back from blowing up a three-goal lead and falling over time in play 4, and taking advantage of their depth to send Oilers to the rim again.
“We’ve been pretty good at jumping back all playoffs,” Marchand said. “We learned a pretty good lesson there last game, and thought we did a much better job in this one.”
