Wyndham Clark’s frustration at missing out on cuts in 2025 US Open allegedly spilled into the dressing room this week.

The tough conditions at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania have some of the best golfers rolling this week in Golf’s toughest test of the year, but Clark allegedly released his rage over the cabinets in the famous clubhouse.

Clark, 2023 US Open Champion, was among many who couldn’t tame Oakmont, shooting back-to-back 74s to finish 8-over to miss the clip.

An alleged photo of the injury was running around on social media as two lower parts of cabinets were completely hollowed in.

Pakinomist Digital reached out to Clark’s representatives of comment.

Clark has not commented on the claim and did not talk to the media after the second round, but he has a story of letting his frustration get the best of him.

During the 2025 PGA championship at the Quail Hollow Club last month, Clark damaged a T-Mobile sign during his final round. He ended up apologizing for his actions.

“I promise to improve the way I handle my frustrations in the course in the future, and hope you can all forgive me in a timely manner,” Clark wrote on social media in response.

The US Open is designed to be the hardest four rounds that any golfer will see during the year and it is definitely delivered. Oakmont has hosted this tournament 10 times, and the glass-like greens and extremely thick rough can always turn head crates into all-watching of rage.

Rory McIlroy was among them during his second round on Friday, crushed a tee marker and threw a club over his 18 holes.

One of his best friends, Shane Lowry, had a terrible time over his two rounds to the point where a hot microphone caught him and said, ‘F — this place,’ after a short putt lipped out.

But while these moments were on the field, Clark didn’t seem to get it all out. It will be interesting to see if he responds to these accusations after the last round on Sunday.
