Baltimore Ravens let a chance of the AFC title game literally fall out of their hands.
The raven’s tight end Mark Andrews learned the hard way of each spectacle, especially in the playoffs, as the team fell to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.
Andrews came under the microscope after a fourth quarter fumble, resulting in a Bills field goal on Buffalo’s subsequent drive and a fallen passport on a two-point conversion attempt on the team’s last drive. Buffalo won the game, 27-25.

The three-time pro bowler had five catches of seven goals of 61 yards. But these two critical plays were what had the NFL world to speak. Andrews took brown of the criticism of the mistakes.
Andrews said he was “absolutely cleansed” at the fall, resulting in online death threats.
With the Ravens back on MiniCamp, Lamar Jackson defended his star tight end.
“I’ve seen my guy be talked about and I really don’t like that because he has done so much for us,” Jackson said via nfl.com. “He has done so much for us and how people did him, I just don’t like it.” Because Mark is still Mark, with certainty, no doubt. “
“He has achieved so much for us and himself. I feel like just let things happen sometimes. We wish we would have won the game. I wish I did not throw that eavesdropping. I wish I will not fumble. I wish the accident did not happen, but it happened. It is a lesson, man, so the next time we will do something better.”

Andrews’ teammates were quick to comfort him on the sidelines where he looked shocked over what had happened. And even though he admitted he was feeling off after the game, Jackson defended Andrews at the time and said it was a team loss.
“While shock and disappointment are unlike something I’ve felt before, I refuse to let the situation define me. I promise that this adversity will only make me stronger and burn us as we move on …” Andrews wrote in a social media post in the days after the game. “I will now do my part to jump back and contribute to it. #Godbless.”

Andrews, a third round of elections in 2018 NFL Draft, has played seven seasons with Baltimore. He ended his campaign in 2024 with a career high 11, receiving touchdowns among his 55 receptions in 673 yards.
