Intense Heat Waving Land

Islamabad:

NDMA has issued an impact-based weather counseling warning of a serious heat wave that is likely to affect South Punjab, Sindh, East Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from June 18 to 22.

The weather counseling issued by NDMA’s National Emergency’s Operation Center (NEOC) called on the public to take precautions to remain in safety under the heat wave.

These include avoiding unnecessary outdoor exposure, especially between 7 p.m. 11 and 16; remains hydrated by drinking plenty of water, even if it doesn’t feel thirsty; Wearing light -colored, loosely appropriate clothing; And using hats or parasols when outdoors.
