Auburn Tigers Men’s Basketball Head coach Bruce Pearl spoke in support of President Donald Trump on Wednesday as his administration continued to weigh possible US commitment to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

The skilled coach who has been obvious in his support for Israel since Hamas’ terrorist attack in October 2023 addressed the question during a performance at Outkick’s “Don’t @ me with Dan Dakich.”

He explained that he believes the United States has a certain level of interest in view of its history with Iran.

“We can go back and talk about 1982 in Lebanon and all the US marines who were murdered. We can talk about October 7, when 45 Americans were killed. And they abducted, you know, six or seven more and executed them before Israel saved them.

“This has been going on since 1979, and it is becoming a safer place, a non-nuclear Iran. And without having money to do what they have done, the world will be a safer place,” he added.

“If the Middle East becomes safer and stronger, look at what Dynamic Country Israel is. Look at all the unicorns that are there. Look at all the high -tech and development. Look at all wealth. If you started spreading to some of these other Middle Eastern countries that will be working with? The United States, Russia, China? the region. ”

The President was not obliged on the possibility of military intervention when he spoke with journalists outside the White House on Wednesday and said military strikes targeted Iran’s nuclear places has not been excluded completely.

Trump has pushed Iran to sign a nuclear deal, but conversations between the two planned for Sunday were interrupted after Iran retired days earlier. While the Trump administration weighs its opportunities, Iran has said that the United States entering the conflict would mean a “complete war.”
