Prince Andrew reportedly has a quiet role behind the scenes of the palace, although he has resigned from public royal tasks after several scandals, including allegations of sexual abuse.
According to the latest report, the “quarreled” Duke of York still maintains a discreet presence within royal circles and has a “part to play.”
Told an insider Daily Mail This Andrew continues to be quietly involved behind the scenes as he often participates in private royal lunch packages.
They revealed that the Duke occasionally helped entertain guests when Senior Royals are not available despite being excluded from high -profile events such as Gardener Parade and Royal Ascot.
When he wrote to the publication, Ephraim Hardcastle wrote: “My source whispers that Andrew is sometimes ready to help entertain guests, especially on days when other royals are thin on earth, even though he is dressed in his best Bib and Tucker he is not allowed to participate in them on the field.”
“At least he’s spared washing up,” he added.
Andrew is still a resident of the Royal Lodge with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, despite Charles reported attempts to have the hum removed and switch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former residence, The Frogmore Cottage.
