And yet, whether it was down to the game series ‘Lasting popularity, its star throw or the viral Tiktok videos of chaotic screenings – you must have seen these’ chicken jockey! ‘memes now – A Minecraft movie has become one of the highest gross films from 2025. Not only does it mean it deserves somewhere on our best max movie list, but also that it is worth checking out on Max this weekend. The waterfront (Netflix)

If you are in the mood for a twisted drama, Netflix’s latest TV originals can hit the place.
Inspired by real events and located in Coastal North Carolina, The waterfront Explores family dynamics and the lengths people will go to when their inheritance is on the field. The series follows the Buckley family, who has ruled garden gate and dominated everything from the local fishing sector to the city’s restaurant scene. But everything that has started to crumble when Patriarch Harlan comes from two heart attacks.

Buccaneers Season 2 (Apple TV+)

Dust your travels and bowler hats because it’s finally time to go back to the gilded age of season 2 of one of the best Apple TV+ exhibitions: Buccaneers.
Last time we saw Sisters Nan and Jinny St George with sisters Lizzy and Mabel Elmsworth in this Apple TV original, the group had just begun to settle in the London High Society after traveling to England for the wedding with Conchita Closson. Now the American heirs are running practically on site, which is precisely where the first episode of this Apple TV+ Show’s second season starts.

We were Liars (Prime Video)

We are liars is interesting. It has a positive 75% rotten tomatoes critics (at the time of publication), but it is left to see if the primary video that young adult drama will in the same way appeal to general viewers.
If you love a psychological thriller, you can be eager to see which side of the debate you are falling this weekend. This eight-part Amazon TV series follows a 17-year-old girl from a wealthy family who spends summers on a private island.
But when she suffers from a terrible accident, she struggles to remember events that happened in her past and it goes from there. Expect the lies, deception and shocking truths with this one that could still participate in our best Prime Video Shows list. – – Lb
The gilded age season 3 (MAX)

It’s a big weekend for period drama fans because there is also the return of HBO’s hit historic drama The gilded age characterized by our screens.
After the end of the Opera War at the end of Season 2, New York High Society has never been more in Flux. Will Russells be the new top dog in town? Can Agnes be expressed with ADA’s new position as the house of the house? There is a lot at stake.
This season’s first episode will debut this Sunday (June 22) with new episodes of one of the best Max shows planned released weekly through August 10. And SEAM

I love movies soundtracks. They are among my most listened to albums, clean because they always have a way to transport me back to the movie. So it’s exciting to watch Netflix put this front and center in Kpop Demon Hunters.
One of June’s new Netflix movies contains music from K-Pop icons including Danny Chung, Ido, Vince, Kush, Ejae, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick and Daniel Rojas, as well as original songs from Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoun of twice, which gives it to the best to make Netflix.
K-pop super stars during the day, demon hunters at night, the film follows a famous ensemble who fights for supernatural powers, including a new rival boy band of demons that are out to steal the limelight. – – SEAM
Underdogs (Hulu/Disney+)

I love a good nature documentary. I enjoyed Secrets of the Penguins Told by Blake Lively, and now her husband Ryan Reynolds follows in her footsteps with Underdogs.
In this five -part Hulu and Disney+ docuseries we examine the strange and unsuccessful heroes of the animal kingdom. You can expect to see questionable parenting strategies, nature Con artists and how these animals use different tactics to get by.
Each episode is about 40 minutes and is packed with witty comment and close to footage that is perfect for every nature lover this weekend one for our best hulu shows and best Disney+ shows guides, maybe?. – – Lb
