Tehran: An earthquake of 5.1 in size hit Northern Iran on Friday, while Israeli air hit to hit the country. However, the local authorities said there were no losses and only minor damage.
The official news agency Irna reported no injuries and only “minimal injury”.
According to the USGS, the earthquake hit a depth of 10 kilometers (six miles), approx. 37 kilometers southwest of the town of Semnan.
Stats -tv reported the earthquake as measuring 5.5 and said it “shook the area around the town of Sorkheh in Semnan Province”.
The shaking was also marked in the capital, Tehran, approx. 150 kilometers (90 miles) from Sorkheh.
