Elijah Blue Allman, son of the music icon Cher and the deceased Gregg Allman, has been released from the hospital’s days after being admitted to “acting irregularly.”
The 47-year-old musician appears under the name P. Exeter Blue and co-founded industrial metal band Deadsy-Kleved “In the middle of the week” after Hans Hospital on June 14, per. TMZ.
Authorities confirmed that drugs were found in California’s residence where Allman was located. He was then “transported to the hospital.” California-based police said the investigation of the incident remains “continuously.”
Allman’s alienated wife, Mariangela King Allman, also spoke in her support in a statement.
“Although it is true that Elijah has been facing personal challenges in the past, a constantly being his unshakable commitment to soberness and his loyalty to those he loves,” she said People Magazine.
Mariangela continued, “As many continue to confront his inner struggles – but it is important to recognize that he does it from a place of strength, not defeat.”
“Despite the assumptions that often color how his journey is made, the reality is that Elijah remains earthy, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose.”
“I would like to say without hesitation that I will always root for him,” she added. “My support is steadfast and comes from a place with deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show.”
Cher, 79, is also a mother of Chaz Bono, whom she shares with ex-husband Sonny Bono.
