Regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Egypt, condemned Iran’s missile attack on the US military base in Qatar.
Iran launched missile attacks on the US Al Utid Air Base in the Gulf State, the largest US military facility in the region. The attack – described by Iran’s military as “devastating and powerful” – marked a greater escalation in the extended conflict.
Riyadh paralyzed Iran for his “unjustified” attack on an American base in Qatar and offers to implement “all his capabilities” in support of Doha, as it has had fixed conditions in the past.
Riyadh said it “condemns and condemns on the strongest expressions that the aggression launched by Iran against the sister -in -law of Qatar … this is unacceptable and unjustified in any circumstances. The kingdom confirms its solidarity and full support for … Qatar and gives all its capabilities to support the sister -in -law of the Sister in Qatar,” Ministry said in a statement.
The United Arab Emirates also condemned in the “strongest expressions” an attack by Iran against Al Udid -Base in Qatar.
The UAE “condemns the strongest twists and the Iranian revolutionary guard’s targeting of Al Utid Air Base in the sister -in -law Qatar, considering it as a flags of Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace,” said Abu Dhabi’s Foreign Ministry in a statement implemented by the official news agent Wam.
Egypt called the Iranian attack “a violation of (Qatar’s) sovereignty, a threat to its territorial integrity and a violation of international law and the charter of the United Nations,” according to a statement from the government.
Cairo expressed his deep concern about the rapidly accelerating and dangerous escalation in the region and confirmed its complete rejection of all forms of military escalation or violation of state sovereignty. The country called for de-shell and truce to preserve regional peace and security.
Jordan condemned what it called “Aggression launched by Iran against the sisterly state of Qatar.”
Bahrain confirmed his full support and solidarity with Qatar.
Kuwaits Foreign Ministry called the Iranian attack a “dangerous escalation” and expressed support for Qatar.
Oman’s Foreign Ministry condemned the regional escalation, which they said was triggered by Israel and includes the recent Iranian attack.
The Office of the President of the Palestinian Authority also called the attack a “an obvious violation of the sovereignty of the sister -in -law Qatar.”
Iraq’s warned tensions in the region have reached “a dangerous and unprecedented turning point” and called for a return to dialogue.
