Not much of a stretch today, with all the words hiding in plain sight with minimal twists. The biggest surprise was the very rare sight of a questioning that started at the top and ended by the side.
“Worth the Splurge” immediately made me think of family holidays that almost always spend your hard -earned cash on. Instead, after finding a watch and handbag, it became clear that we were looking for the standard environment with luxury goods.
What all the things we were looking for today have in common is that they are all not essential and that cheaper versions of them all are easily accessible, although with the exception of perfume all can be justified as splurge-worthy as they are not written off at the same speed as these cheaper versions (that’s what we tell us anyway).

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
