Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Indiana Pacers Sunday in Game 7 in the NBA final. When Thunder heed the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy, it also marked the official start of the high season.
Although the peak season is only a few days old, teams have been active in the trading market as the NBA draft approaches.
Grizzlies and Pacers wandered during the final. Memphis sent the Guard Desmond course to Orlando Magic in exchange for players and draft elections. Meanwhile, Indiana performed an agreement involving draft elections.

Three -team Agreement Sends Kristaps Porzingis to Atlanta
It wasn’t clear that Clint Capela would return to Hawks in the 2025-26 season. Atlanta filled the potential void in the middle by acquiring Kristaps Porzingis from Celtics in a three-team agreement. Brooklyn Nets was also part of the deal, USA Today Sports reported Tuesday.

On Tuesday, ESPN reported a trade involving Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans. The deal sent Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and a draft of New Orleans.

On Monday, reports appeared around two-time NBA All-Star Jrue Holiday’s Future Home. Holidays spent the last two seasons with Boston Celtics and helped the franchise secure its record 18. NBA title last year.
But Star Guard will reportedly begin the 2025-26 season in the western conference with the Portland Trail Blazers. Celtics received Anfeee Simons and a couple of future drafts for vacation.
Kevin Durant’s uneven run with Suns ending

On Sunday 2014, NBA MVP Kevin Durant was traded for Houston Rockets. According to ESPN, Phoenix Suns Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and six drafts of elections in return for the two-time NBA champion received forward.
The NBA draft begins at 1 p.m. 20 EDT Wednesday, June 25 from the Barclays Center in New York. The second round is scheduled for Thursday, June 26.
