Rawalpindi:
Security forces killed 11 Indian sponsored terrorists, while two security staff were martyrated during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in southern Waziristan district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was performed in the general area of Sararogha in South Waziristan about the reported presence of Indian proxy terrorists from Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
“During the performance of Operation, the own troops effectively engaged the KHWARIJ location,” the statement states, referring to the terrorists belonging to TTP. “Eleven Indian sponsored Khwarij is killed and seven were injured by security forces,” it added.

ISPR, who paid rich tribute to Major Moiz Shaheed, said he was known for his courage and bold actions in several operations performed against Khwarij.
According to the statement, a sanitization operation was carried out to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area. “Security forces in Pakistan are determined to wipe out the threat of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country and such victims of our brave men further strengthening our determination.”
President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the professional capabilities of officers and staff in the security forces for successful performance of the operation against the terrorists in Fitna Al-Khwarij.
They paid tribute to Shaheed -Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah and Shaheed Lance Naik Jibranullah, PM Office Media Wing said in a statement.
The president paid tribute to the value of security forces for removing terrorists from Fitna Al-Khwarij in Ibo, the presidential secretariat media wing said in a statement.
The president and the prime minister asked for the high rows of the martyrs and the supplement of patience for the deprived families.
President Zardari said as he praised against and patriotism of the martyred staff that the nation would always remember their victims.
The whole nation, including him, was proud of their martyrs and their families, said the prime minister, adding the victims of those who embraced martyrdom to be beloved homeland would not go in vain.
The president and the prime minister repeated the decision to continue the fight against the prayer of terror until its complete extinction.
The president said their decision to eliminate terror elements would remain firm.
The Prime Minister also expressed that in their unwavering resumption to defend the home country, the whole nation, including him, stood shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces.
