Tight End University is a three-day working meeting unlike others in professional sports, but it is much more than what happens on the field.

It is the construction of a society and as a clear Monday night in Nashville, family.

When it was founded in 2021 by tight end stars Travis Kelce and George Kittle, as well as Carolina Panthers Legend and Fox NFL -tv company Greg Olsen, “Teu” consists of about 50 players. But as each year has passed, more and more wants to join their friends in Music City, and it also involves their families.

A good example was Music Megastar Taylor Swift, who supported her boyfriend Kelce on Monday night when she showed up to Teu Welcome Party with many other wives and girlfriends traveling with their NFL -meaningful others to meet new friends, make bonds stronger and enjoy this season transfer before the creepy days of training camp and the regular season hit later.

Olsen talked to Pakinomist Digital about the importance of having people like his wife, Kara, Swift, Claire Kittle and many others who also travel to Nashville for this occasion.

“I think one of the cooler elements of the event is just the families are coming,” Olsen explained. “We said last night, there were guys who came five years ago when they came to this event. Maybe they were single or they were just with someone. Now they are five years in their careers and they have had children.

“We’ve seen guys not only growing on the field, but we’ve taught their families, their children, their wives, their girlfriends, parents, kind of the whole picture. And not only get to know them on the field, but obviously get to know them personally. So to continue to have family support every year is just another critical element to make this event so special.”

As Olsen mentioned, children of players – both past and present – ran around the field at Vanderbilt University along with some of the game’s best tight ends, including his own.

“You meet new friends, you get to talk to them before and after the matches that are so special. So being able to choose people’s brains, put a few more tools in your tool bag and be able to work here and see it,” said Philadelphia Eagles star Dallas Goedert about the TEU experience he enjoys every year.

“Everyone visualizes the game a little differently. You go into the classroom and you hear George and Travis talk about things. They look at everything a little different. You can find what you correlate with them, so it’s just a great way to learn small things and hopefully improve your game a little every time you come here.”

The latest Denver Bronco’s tight end Evan Engram added: “There is so much satisfaction and purpose for what men, as leaders, like athletes, to help the next guy. I think, with that mentality here it creates an infectious, beautiful and very advantageous reinforcing event.”

Peter Raskin founder and partner of Rubicon Talent, the basic partners of Teu-have seen first-handed from the business side of this venture, how much it has grown year over year.

And that includes players’ partners who want to get involved. Raskin also gave a special cry to Claire Kittle, who has been steadfast to welcome the families who want to participate in the fun.

“What has really become interesting about this event, I would say, with the 80 players who are here, have 50 of them brought their wives or girlfriends,” Raskin said. “So we have a whole operation going on at Thompson Hotel – Facials, Massage, Wellness, Saunas, Cold Throws. They make a brunch. They go on a shopping trip. The women make it go.

“These guys can get away for three days because they bring their wives and girlfriends, and it has grown exponentially from year, and Claire Kittle is really the face of it and really welcomes people to Nashville. Shows all wives and girlfriends a good time.”
