Rawalpindi:
Opposition leader in the Senate Shibli Faraz on Thursday said that PTI-Political Committee had unanimously decided to present the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa budget and that they would consult PTI cartridge-I-chief IMRAN after meeting him.
Any Imran proposals would be approved by a two -third majority, he added.
In a speech with the media outside the Adiala prison, along with KP state financing adviser Muzammil Aslam claimed Faraz that there was a conspiracy to prevent the presentation of the KP budget to create a constitutional crisis.
He said the PTI founder had instructed him, Muzammil Aslam, Omar Ayub, Taimur Jhagra and Ali Amin Gandapur to consult each other.
“We made several attempts to meet the PTI founder, but permission was not given,” Faraz said. “Therefore, the budget was presented in accordance with the decision of the political committee.”
He dismissed talk of “minus one” or “minus to” and said that people were still stuck with the PTI founder. By passing on the budget had defeated the conspiracy, he noted.
He also said that the budget is tentative and that changes can be made by the PTI founder’s direction.
