After two consecutive days of rainfall, Karachi remains under partially cloudy sky today with slight rain probably, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The weather system, which brought over 58 millimeters of rain to the city, is weakened, reducing the intensity of the expected rainfall. Light showers are expected today, while the dripping can continue in tomorrow.
Meteorologists partly expect to fully cloudy sky in the coming days due to the system’s lingering impact.
Moisture levels are expected to vary between 65% and 85%, making temperatures feel 6 ° C to 8 ° C warmer than the actual readings.
Karachi’s maximum temperature today is expected to reach 32 ° C, up from yesterday’s registered height of 30 ° C.
Over the past 24 hours, Surjani City saw the highest rainfall of 58.2 mm, followed by Saadi Town (47.5 mm), Gullhan-e-Maymar (37.4 mm) and Gullhan-E-Hade (37 mm).

Other areas registered between 24 mm and 32 mm of rain, including Shahrae Faisal, North Karachi, Jinnah Terminal, Defense, Korangi and University Road.
Heavy monsoon rain caused floods of cities over Karachi on Saturday, which flooded low -lying areas and paralyzed traffic over the city.
Localities in the cities such as Liaquatabad, North Karachi, Orangi Town and Gullhan-E-Iqbal faced severe water logging.
Flooding drains near Iqbal Plaza in northern Karachi and Defense Morr’s worsening conditions, while open manholes and wastewater waste raised sanitary problems.
Larger roads, including Sharae Faisal, Shahrah-E-Pakistan and Rashid Minhas Road, so significant traffic disorder, with stranded vehicles and commuters fighting through submerged streets.
