- GMKTEC EVO T1 delivers advanced performance, AI power and enlargement
- Supports local AI tasks, high-speed storage and multiple 4K screens
- The Mini -PC offers USB4, Dual Lan, Oculink and Up to 128 GB RAM
In recent years, we have seen mini-PCs get very far, from being simple systems to basic tasks, to now being powerful enough to deal with creative workloads, multi-tasking, local AI treatment and even advanced games.
With many users who turn away from voluminous desktops, the appeal to compact systems with full -scale capabilities is still growing.
GMKTEC EVO T1 is a clear example of how small machines can provide great services, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor, which includes 14 cores and reaches up to 5.1 GHz.
Requires AI tasks
The chip is part of Intel’s newer lineup and is designed to deal with demanding AI tasks such as local LLM inferences. GMKTEC claims that its new Mini work station can run Deepseek 32B with 15 tokens per day. Second with 77 Tops AI Compute.
The EVO T1 can support up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, and it comes with three M.2 PCIE 4.0 SSD slots.
The inclusion of an oculink port also allows for external GPU use, which opens the door to advanced reproduction tasks and even a place for AAA games.
Dual 2.5 GBPS LAN ports quickly support networks, while USB4 promises data transfer to up to 40 Gbps.
The EVO T1 can run up to four screens at once thanks to HDMI and DisplayPort support.
Something this powerful is obviously needed decent cooling to keep system performance stable under load, and the EVO T1 offers a double-fan system that balances air flow and noise.
There is no word yet about pricing or accessibility, but GMKTEC says it will come soon.
The company’s new AI MAX+ 395-driven EVO-X2 AI Mini PC, with 64 GB and 1 TB SSD, has an MSRP of $ 2199 (it’s currently for sale for $ 1499), so the EVO T1 is likely to come in about $ 1299, maybe as low as $ 999 with for-sales discount.
