Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar have said that India must review his policies and cannot introduce his will to Pakistan.
Dar, who spoke at the Foundation Day ceremony for the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad, warned Dar New Delhi against unilateral actions and repeated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and sovereignty.
He strongly criticized India’s use of “false flag operations” for justifying aggression against Pakistan, especially with reference to the Pulwama incident, which he said was used by India to arrange a manufactured narrative. “India has to visit his strategic choices and end her forced policy,” Dar said.
Tensions between Pakistan and India escalated on April 22 when an attack in Pahagam killed 26 people. India accused Pakistan of the incident. Pakistan has categorically rejected Indian accusations.
India then undertook a series of hostile actions the next day of April 23, when the 65-year-old Indus Water’s Treaty (IWT) suspended Visa for Pakistani citizens, closed the Wagah Attari border transition and ordered the shut down of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, among others.

He accused India of open violation of international laws while repeating Pakistan’s compliance with the principle of peaceful coexistence.
In a commentary on global affairs, Dar welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel and confirmed Pakistan’s long -standing support for Iran’s legitimate attitude.
He called for dialogue -based solution to Iran’s nuclear issues and expressed concern about the humanitarian crisis of Gaza and continuously condemned atrocities in the region.

The order confirmed that India cannot unilaterally suspend the treaty or its dispute resolution mechanisms.
In a statement on Sunday, the prime minister said the water is crucial to Pakistan and praised Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Awan for their legal efforts.
The court declared that the treaty remains binding unless it is terminated with mutual consent and does not allow one -sided suspension of any of the parties.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that Pakistan would consider war if India refused to honor the Indus Waters Treaty.
“India must choose between honoring the treaty or losing control of all six rivers,” Bilawal said, confirming Pakistan’s obligation to protect its share of water under the World Bank-brokered agreement.
The comments followed a previous statement from a political demonstration in SUKKUR in which Bilawal declared: “Either the river will flow, or their blood will.”
