The US Department of Justice has decided its trial against HPE’s acquisition of $ 14 billion of EinerNetwork, which means the agreement can now continue in pending legal approval.
However, HPE must adhere to some beautiful hefty conditions for pacifying regulators, including depending on its ‘moment on’ wireless network business and auctioning a license for Junipers AI OPS for Mist -Kilde Code it uses in WLAN products.
Still welcomed HPE CEO Antonio Neri news and confirmed that the agreement solves antitrust problems in a joint statement from HPE and Juniper.

“Our agreement with DOJ paves the way to close HPE’s acquisition of EinerNetwork and retain the intended benefits of this agreement for our customers and shareholders,” Neri said.
HPE -Hope to join forces with Junipers will enable it to tackle “Legacy Established Network Solutions” by combining the two companies’ hybrid cloud, storage, calculation and software expertise.
“This marks an exciting step forward to delivering a critical customer need – a complete portfolio of modern, secure network solutions to connect their organizations and provide significant foundations to Hybrid Sky and AI,” added Juniper Networks CEO Rami Rahim.
The Department of Justice staff chief Chad Mizelle called Win an “important legal victory” for the anti -rust department.
The news comes almost a year after the Europe Commission first approved the agreement – in August 2024 European antitrrut regulators stated that the acquisition “would not significantly reduce competition.”
With HPE intelligent edge revenue down $ 852 million years to year to $ 4.5 billion, Juniper’s full revenue of $ 5.1 billion could further strengthen HPE’s position in the market.
Looking ahead, HPE has been given 180 days to dispose of immediately or it risks having additional actions.
