Karachi: A motorcyclist lost their lives after collision with a water tanker near the site and Liaquat Chowrangi as the law enforcement authorities immediately took action by grabbing the tanker and withholding his driver on Tuesday.
Police intervened to ensure a thorough investigation of the case.
Both the water tanker and its driver were immediately transferred to the place-a-police station for further investigations.
Rescue teams quickly arrived at the stage to provide help.
Earlier last week, a deadly collision that involved a water tanker was raised, the total number of deaths from heavy traffic accidents in Karachi this year to 138, according to police reports.
On May 31, at least five lives were lost in five separate accidents, including a university professor.
The increasing number of high-speed dumps-truck accidents, which has resulted in many deaths and injuries in recent months, has led the authorities to introduce various security measures.
This ongoing question has strengthened demands for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations and major upgrades to the city’s road infrastructure to prevent further loss of life.
