Caitlin Clark’s All-Star vote among WNBA players who ranked her ninth best among guards in the league had social media in a madness wondering how it could be.

“I thought we were turning a corner here, Dan,” she told Dakich. “I thought we were seeing her teammates having her back. I thought we might have settled down with this obsession with Caitlin Clark.
“It really feels like a hatred of her, but it’s clearly a jealousy. She has the big state’s farm commercial where everything is better from the logo – great ad, very smart. So America loves her, the fans clearly love her, the media likes her. But the players can’t stand her.”
Clark, a WNBA All-Star game captain along with Minnesota Lynx’s Napheesa Collier, first ended in a fan voting and fourth in media vote among guards.

But Tafoya, like many others, couldn’t think that Clark was so far down the list. Some believe it could be because she has been fighting in recent matches with her jumpshot, while others talked about playing just nine of the fever’s 16 games so far this season due to injuries.
Tafoya wouldn’t hear that.
“The ninth-best guard in the league? Don’t try to give me the excuses for ‘Well, she has struggled recently,’ or ‘she missed some games of injury.’ Come on, this is insane and I think it is an activist vote from the women in WNBA who simply cannot tolerate her success.
