Meghan Markle’s raspberry jam is labeled a failure of an expert.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has launched jams and spreads under her lifestyle mark ‘as ever,’ describes a ‘disappointment’ by Donna Collins.
Collins, owner of Jelly Queens, said to the standard: “It’s a real disappointment that Meghan sells a fruit spread, which is what you do when your jam fails. In the jam industry is a spread what we call something that didn’t work.”
Previously, Collins explained: “An advanced client may want to give the impression that their jams are done by hand in a country kitchen while actually made in an industrial warehouse on a sterile production line.”
Mrs. Collins added: “Her raspberry spread is not stirred by a human hand throughout her production. It is made on scale in a large VAT and cooked quickly, pumped down a tube and pressed in jars.”
