I roared through today’s word search at fast speed. Most likely because I’m hungry and I would love a burger – though not one from a grill. In my experience, it’s a bad idea. But also because there was little to challenge us here over the twisted swung watermelon.
It may be different in the United States, where people who do not normally do food have more opportunities to practice burning meat, but in the UK, a grill is a rare event that usually results in some form of drama caused by drinking in sunshine along with a long list of food hygiene violations.
Again, probably different in other parts of the world, but the traditional British grilled burger is burnt to a crispy on the outside and raw, bordering up to still frozen, on the inside – and served on a bun that is chemically closer to rubber than bread. Oddly enough, I don’t feel hungry anymore.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
