Islamabad:
Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) President Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Thursday criticized the constitutional bench in the reserved seats review, saying that the diving of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf’s (PTI) reserved seats to other parties who made a mood for the mood.
When he spoke at a news conference in Islamabad, Achakzai said the government violated the constitution, destroyed the judiciary and respected people’s mandate. The court’s decision, he said, stepped down PTI his share in the reserved seats.
“We believe in supremacy of the constitution and the law. But here people are slaved,” said Achakzai. “Today the Constitution is respected. Now PML-n [Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz] and PPP [Pakistan Peoples Party] undermines the spirit of the constitution. “
The PKMAP chief said he may have many differences with PTI, but still he thought the party was facing great injustices. He claimed that the Election Commission in Pakistan (ECP) was acting in a partial way, while the Supreme Court captured its electoral symbol on bats.
He accused that the current government was also lacking credibility because it was formed with “gun”. He also accused the National Assembly’s speeches of being partial. He said that remaining silent under these circumstances would mean “criminal negligence”.
