Armed clash leaves three wounded in Murree

MURREE:

A violent clash broke out between two groups of local dealers on Mall Road’s GPO Chowk and made the area a battlefield.

Both sides bull to air firing and used sticks and stones freely, leaving three people wounded.

Several vehicles also got their windows crushed, while tourists were panicked when a stamp broke out at the busy GPO Chowk.

Police operations continued late at night. According to officials, 15 suspects were involved in the fight and shot arrested.

The incident took place near IMTIAZ Shaheed Road, where intense firing and stone pesting took place during the clash. Murree District Police Officer (DPO) immediately noticed and inserted a heavy police quota to the scene.

Murree Asp and the local Sho also reached the location with their team.

The police registered a case in accordance with various provisions of the Triergic Previal ​​Act and arrested 23 suspects belonging to both groups. The suspects were produced by rather Rawalpindi ATC judge, who awarded four-day physical custody.
