Nathan’s hot dog champion ‘motivated’ by Chestnut Return

Joey Chestnut’s return to Coney Island on the fourth of July can come up with something of a wrinkle.
Chestnut was not eligible to compete in last year’s Nathan’s hot dog’s eating competition after a dispute originating from his signature with impossible foods.
But with weeks to spare, the pages all worked out an appointment to get the goat of competitive to eat back in Brooklyn on the day of independence.

However, chestnut will be with the people with the people of ethical treatment of animals (PETA).
In a press release sent to Pakinomist Digital, Peta said “Tommy Tofu and his Peta friends will be right there at Nathan’s famous Hot Dog’s dining competition that distributes hundreds of tasty vegan hot dogs as they challenge hungry spectators to enjoy a free, flavorful fourth.”
“Vegan hot dogs are delicious and friendly, and who really want to support slaughterhouses – the word is enough – by buying what comes out of them,” Peta Executive Tracy Reiman told TMZ. “Peta urges everyone to let freedom call everyone by leaving animals in peace in July 4th and beyond.”

Nathans Hot Dog Eating Competition: Joey Chestnut returns to Coney Island as heavy favorite
Chestnut has actually dealt with a protest during the competition before. About halfway through the 2022 event, protesters rushed the scene – at least one wearing a darth wader -mask – while wearing signs reading “Expose Smithfield Deathstar.” Smithfield is a large food processing company from Smithfield, Virginia, which specializes in pork products. Nathan’s famous is an all-beef Frank.
All with a cast on his legs from a broken late, Chestnut put a demonstrator in a head lock and dropped him to the ground. He still managed to put down 63 dogs and win the event convincingly, although he claimed it cost him five Vienners.

Last year, Peta planned to “bombard the competition spectators” and brought a truck to encourage fans to go vegan.
Of course, Chestnut is the overwhelming favorite of Friday’s event as he has won 16 of the last 17 competitions he has competed in, only lost to Matt Stonie in 2015. His record is 76 dogs and buns.
