The production wheels on Spider-Man: Brand new day Finally, ready to turn after reports emerged that it will start to record in August.
Cameras are starting to roll on Tom Holland’s next big screen outing as the famous Marvel superhero next month, according to two Scottish business. Glasgow Times and Herald Scotland have stated that main photography will get started on August 2nd, with Glasgow acting as a cost-saving stand-in for New York City.
Both newspapers have reported that several roads will be inaccessible to vehicles (except emergency services) and the public from July 28 to August 13. Production designers and sets of dressers will move in to change the appearance of certain streets to give them an American feeling before Marvel -Phase 6 film’s first scenes are filmed between 3rd and 8th and 8.

What questions do I want to answer when filming on Spider-Man 4 starts?
The most important inquiry I have is who has actually been role-based in Spider-Man’s latest adventure.
So far, Holland is the only actor who has been confirmed to show up. He will repeat his role as Peter Parker and his superhuman altar-ego, but the rest of the film’s role is still a mystery.
Well, on the official confirmation front anyway. There have been plenty of rumors plus unofficial actress confirmations through the industry, about who will emerge in one of 2026’s most expected new films.
For example, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon have been associated with roles in Brand new day. The couple appeared last in a Marvel movie in the 2021s Spider-Man: No way homeBut they also played MJ and Ned Leeds in Holland’s two other solo films. Given how the aforementioned flick ended, it is unlikely that they will have significant roles this time.
Elsewhere, Stranger Things Star Sadie Sink is allegedly set to Co-Star along with the Netherlands in Spider-Man 4. There is no word about who she had to produce, but Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans have their theories.
There are several other new and established MCU figures that could emerge. Brand new day Can bring John Bernhals Frank Castle/The Punisher to the Silver Screen for the first time. Mark Ruffalos Bruce Banner/The Hulk is also tapped to appear in Spider-Man 4 If online gossip columns are to be believed. There are speculation that three large spider-man villains could emerge in Brand new dayalso.
Away from its potential castings, I also want to know if it will be another multiversal movie or not. I prefer it Brand new day To be more a story at the street level of wallcrawler but in view of No way home Created over $ 1 billion globally thanks to its Multiversal Spider-Man-Team-Up, I wouldn’t be surprised if some parallel universe shenanigans have been woven into its plot.
I don’t expect Spider-Man 4‘s first few days of filming to confirm or deny one or all of these rumors. Nevertheless, whether some of them are officially addressed by Marvel and/or Sony, or we discover more details using leaks coming out of that set, I hope we learn something new about its role crew and plot in front of Spider-Man 4‘S 31 July 2026 Launch Date.
