Rawalpindi:
Preparations for the six most important Ashura -ary Processions, including Zuljanah, Tazia and Alam Processions in Rawalpindi, are completed.
The Ashura Safety Plan is approved and implemented immediately.
According to the plan, rangers have been called, while army units remain on red alarm. Air monitoring of processions is performed via helicopter.
According to officials, 8,500 police personnel, 700 civilian defense volunteers and 100 female volunteers have been deployed for security. Mobile phone and internet services remain suspended from 1 p.m. 06:30 to midnight on the day of ashura.
Drone monitoring of processions is also performed.
A control room has been established and bombing group groups will accompany the routes. Three ambulances will be stationed in front of and in the back of the process along with mobile medical clinics. After Maghrib beans, IESCO’s lightweight vehicles will provide lighting along the routes.
A ban on pills has been introduced, while dumping building material, waste or waste on the routes for the five main processes is strictly prohibited.
Mosques along the routes remain closed except in prayer times and will otherwise be sealed. Speakers will only be allowed for the call for prayer (Azan).
Stores and markets along the routes remain closed and sealed.
Residents of houses, squares and shops along the routes are forbidden to stand or look out of the roof or windows.
Police will be stationed on roofs in sensitive areas. Mounted police units will escort the front and rear of processions. Monitoring is performed through 350 closed circuit cameras.
Access to processions will be strictly through review gates. The berry of battles, cigarette thinkers, weapons or sticks has been banned.
Transferers will be charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act. The storage of bricks or stones on the rooftops along the processional routes is also prohibited. Parking of vehicles and motorcycles along the routes is prohibited and offenders cause their vehicles to be placed.
At Ashura Morning on Fajr -Bunning time, all routes will be sealed using containers, trucks and barbed wire.
A total of 137 streets and narrow lanes along the processional routes will also be sealed with tractor trucks, containers, hand wagers and barbed wire, and police staff will be deployed.
