Caitlin Clark’s presence at Indiana Fever led to opponents changing venues to a greater seating capacity to host thousands more fans than usual for games.
But this year’s first round, Dallas Wings All-Star Guard Paige Bueckers, makes the draw even bigger on August 1, when these teams are ready to meet in Dallas.
The American Airlines Center, home to NBAS Dallas Mavericks and NHL’s Dallas stars, will be the site of fever-wings on that date as it is expected to fit about 20,000 spectators.

Wings’ usual home ground is found in the College Park Center in Arlington, suitable for only 7,000 fans.
This matchup is called “The Pulel” when these two teams played in a sold -out American Airlines Center on June 27.

It was a high scoring match where the fever got away with the victory on the road, 94-86. Clark, who was dealing with an injury, did not play in the game, but Bueckers led his team with 27 points and six assists in the loss.
For Indiana, Kelsey Mitchell exploded for 32 points, seven assists and three rebounds, while Alyiah Boston added 21 points, six rebounds and three assists in the victory.

Clark’s status now remains uncertain as she has missed the last five competitions with a groin injury. She also treated a left quad tribe earlier this season, which also led to five unanswered games.
Clark has played only nine games this year, an average of 18.2 points, five rebounds and 8.9 assists per year. Match. The fever has been able to stay strong during her absence and own a 9-9 overall record that sets them third at the eastern conference.
Meanwhile, the wings did not get the resurgence they thought would come by adding BUeckers and others this season. They own the worst record at the western conference of 6-13 a year.

But Bueckers has appeared in her rookie season, an average of 18.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists when she earned what was supposed to be the first of many all-star nods.
