New book reveals why Caitlin Clark ‘never had a chance’ at Olympic Guard

Caitlin Clark was doubtfully abandoned the US Olympic List last year, which led to a lot of debate.

Sure Clark had been in WNBA for just a few months, but she had already proven why she was No. 1 election of a record-breaking campaign at the University of Iowa.

Unfortunately she was abandoned and apparently she had “never a chance.”

“The Powers That Be In The Women’s Game Did Not Want Caitlin Clark On Their Team. No Matter How Well She Was Playing, and No Matter How Convinced Most Basketball Experts Were That She Was Not Only Getting Better Daily, But Also Playing Very Well In The Moment, And No Matter How Much Indicated clark was being given a shot to make the team, she never had a chance, “USA Today Columnist Christine Brennan Wrote in Her New Book,” On Her Game: Caitlin Clark and Revolution in Women’s Sports, “which was released on Tuesday.

Why not? Well, maybe for two reasons.

Brennan had reported this last year, “which didn’t make sense at the time,” but repeated in his book that US-basketball officers had growing concern about how Clark’s fans would respond to her potential reception of limited playing time on what would undoubtedly be the best team she had ever been to.

However, Brennan said that Clark was actually fighting for a disadvantage when a place was unofficially open to Diana Taurasi.

WNBA Official thinks the players have zero idea what real media exposure is, ‘says new book

Taurasi “should get a goodbye present by the US Basketball” – a record sixth Olympic nodded “unless she was completely injured and couldn’t play.”

“This meant 11 spots, not 12, were open and available. Taurasi was a lock … and quite frankly, she would go, even though she was a little hurt and could only play sparingly. To say that was not the way an Olympic selection process had to be run, is a huge understatement,” the Bren revealed.

The team hardly missed Clark as they continued to win gold in Paris. Clark was offered somewhere on the 3-to-3 team but rejected.

Clark said last year that she wouldn’t be in Paris for her popularity while she said her snub “will certainly motivate me all my career.”

“I don’t want to be there because I’m someone who can bring attention,” Clark said. “I love it for the game of women’s basketball. But at the same time I want to be there because they think I’m good enough. I don’t want to be a little person who is a little pulled around for people to cheer on and only see because I’m sitting on the bench. All this story kind of was what was nothing.
