Chicago Sky star Angel Reese wrote on social media that the breakdown of the clipboard during the team’s match against Washington mystics was performed in “The moment the heat.”

The incident became viral during the team’s games on Tuesday. Reese had 22 points, 15 points and four assists as her double-double strip continued. But with 30 seconds left in the game, Reese stormed against the bench over a timeout and clapped the clipboard out of Ann Crosby’s hand. Crosby is the team’s vice president of strength and conditioning.

Reese received some good news later Tuesday. She was chosen as a reserve for WNBA All-Star Game. She will be on Napheesa Collier’s team, who was named one of the captains along with Caitlin Clark. The Minnesota Lynx star added Reese to his list.

Last year, Reese collaborated with Clark when WNBA All-Stars took over Team USA. Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale was MVP for the game after she went out for 34 points.
