Rawalpindi:
National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency’s (NCCIA) Rawalpindi Circle has arrested a radiologist and a Kahuta Tehsil headquarters Hospital to allegedly harass female patients and secretly record videos.
According to officials, an internal study revealed that Shakil Ahmed (radiologist) and Zainul Abideen (Ward Servant) took advantage of their positions to participate in inappropriate behavior in the radiology department.
Shakil allegedly behaved obscene with a female patient in the X -ray room, while the Zainul Abiden secretly filmed the incident on his phone.
Analysis of seized electronic units confirmed the presence of critical material and involvement of both suspects in the production and sharing of such content.
A case has been registered under the law on the prevention of electronic crimes 2016 (PECA) and other relevant laws.
Officials said the incident represents a serious breach of public trust, medical ethics and abuse of government resources.
NCCIA investigators continue the probe.
