The bodies of nine passengers abducted and killed in Balochistan’s Loralai district last night were recovered and transported to their hometowns in Punjab to last rituals, officials said Friday.
Assistant Commissioner Naveed Alam said seven of the victims have been identified – Heel from Lodhran, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujrat, Attock, Khanewal and Gujranwala – while two remain unidentified due to lack of documentation.
Among those killed were Brothers Usman and Jabir, who traveled back to Punjab with their family to attend their father’s funeral, which was scheduled for 1 p.m. 9 today. Sabir, their brother, shared on social media that their father had died the previous day.
On Thursday night, terrorists allegedly joined Fitna Al-Hindustan down in at least nine passengers from Punjab-bound buses passing through the Sardhaka area of Balochistan’s Loralai District.
The assailants checked the passengers’ ID cards and supposedly targeted persons with Punjab addresses. The incident appeared near the N-70 motorway at a place along the Loralai-Zhob border.

Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said the terrorists who performed this cruel attack belonged to Fitna Al-Hindustan.
In May this year, the government appointed all terrorist organizations in Balochistan as Fitna-Al-Hindustan. The term refers to Indian-backed and/or sponsored terrorist organizations operating in Balochistan.
Proscibed Group Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) allegedly assumed responsibility for the killings, stating that it was blocking the highway between Musakhail-Makhtar and Khajuri before targeting the passengers.
‘Barbaric Act’
Condemnations are poured shortly after the attack.
President Asif Ali Zardari described the killings as a “barbaric act” and said it was part of Fitna al-Hindustan’s wider conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan, according to the state regime Radio Pakistan.
He confirmed the state’s obligation to clean the country with all such threats and their facilitators and said, “We will clear our country with Fitna al-Hindustan at all costs.”
Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz condemned the attack on the strongest terms and denotes the “obvious terrorism”. He claimed that the perpetrators would be treated through full state force.
“The blood of innocent people will be avenged,” he said, accusing the Indian state of supporting such acts against unarmed civilians.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the killings as “Feig Barbarism” of “India -sponsored terrorists and their local facilitators” and promised nationwide persecution and punishment for the perpetrators.

He expressed sympathy for the deprived families and confirmed the state’s obligation to avert all reasons against national peace and integrity.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti also condemned the attack strongly and described it as “obvious terrorism” and an unforgivable crime committed solely on Pakistani identity.
He pledged a serious answer and said the perpetrators had proven to be “feige animals” rather than humans, promising that the state would pursue them relentlessly, which left them no place to hide.
