Ballard (Prime Video)

Ready to go back in the grim bouquet of LA? In another extension of Amazon’s crime drama universe Boschone of the best prime video show has received another spinoff (the first creature Bosch: Legacy) I. Ballard.
This time is the titular RenĂ©e Ballard, a murder detective, the protagonist. She has the same cried of Harry Bosch, but operates more in the police procedure – even if the filing of a complaint against the department gets her exhausted.
Clean for a new role as leader of an underfunded cold case department, Ballard reveals new evidence in long forgotten crimes leading to an even greater conspiracy she did not expect. Maggie Q repeats his role as the leading investigator and is breathtaking in all 10 episodes that are now streaming on Prime Video. – – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor
Bricks (Netflix)

Imagine this: You suddenly find that you are trapped inside your home by a mysterious magnetic wall wall that blocks all outputs. Where did it come from? What does that mean? And most importantly, how do you get out?
One of July’s new Netflix movie Brick Have an exciting prerequisite, Cube, saw, and The platform. It has everything you could expect: excitement, survival and a arch that overcomes adversity, but it has been slammed by critics for being pretty slap dash.
So it’s by no means one of the best Netflix movies, but Netflix -German Thriller tackle an exciting puzzle that might lure you in. – SEAM
Foundation Season 3 (Apple TV+)
Look at
Apple TV+ is home to the Myriad Fantastic Sci-Fi series. And if you don’t see Foundation – ie. One of its best genre offers – yet you miss, especially if you are an avid fan of epic space operas.
Foundation Season 3 has just debuted, and it further cements its claim as one of the best Apple TV+ shows around. Check min Foundation Season 3 review to find out why.
This season’s first episode is now out on Apple’s streaming service, and although new chapters will be released every Friday, you have two seasons worth being a story to catch up if you haven’t seen it yet. Whether you are a fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune or several other Tentpole Sci-Fi franchiser, you will love what is offered here, believe me. – – TP
Too much (Netflix)
Look at
Lena Dunham’s new Netflix -Show lives up to the hype (read my Too much Review to learn more). She stays effortlessly more relevant than ever behind the camera (and ahead, with a naughty performance in section 1), but Megan Stalter is a delicious leading lady in this project that even goes so far as to show her to release her own ‘London Bridge’ music video with Fergie.
However, let’s get one thing straight: this is not Girls 2.0. There is still a decent amount of chaos and the daily drama in Too muchBut Jessica’s (stalter) solo transformation journey is elevated by her movement over the pond. It’s Jessica’s world, and we just live in it, complete with an endless list of celebrity comos, each of which is somehow better than the last in one of the best Netflix shows I’ve seen in a while. – – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment writer
OPUS (MAX)
Look at
What do you get when you cross The bear‘S Ayo Edebiri and functioning Stalwart John Malkovich in the framework of a rural municipality? An absolute maniacal experience for everyone involved known as Opus. Okay, reviews have been mixed but it would be lazy to compare it to a pop -culture saucepan of Midtmar.
Before the ridiculously unhinged end of one of the best HBO MAX movies, it is probably not a surprise to learn that Malkovich is incredible casting to our recurring pop icon, where both his mindset and musical performances leave us disoriented. No one is more confused than Edebiris IngĂ©nue -author Ariel, and it is her naive sense of fearlessness that continues to raise the effort. It is also worth keeping an eye on who is in the background – Lil NAS X and Lenny Kravitz are among those with uncredited roles as super fans in this A24 flick that is out now at HBO Max. – – JV
DEXTER: Resurrection (Paramount+)
Look at
I’ve never got the hype around DEXTER When it was first sent, but I can appreciate that it has been popular enough to become a franchise in itself.
Its lifetime will also be in doubt at any time soon, with the release of DEXTER: Resurrection on paramount+. The successor to DEXTER: New bloodAlso the first sequel to the original series, reunite us with Michael C. Halls Antihero Who-spoilers-survived an almost deadly shooting in New blood. Now has fully recovered, he is on the path his son Harrison, who was responsible for pulling the trigger.
Dexter Morgan’s first two TV productions are some of the best paramount+ shower around, so don’t be surprised if this is similar well received and/or becomes a hit with general viewers. – – TP
An Evening in Idaho: College -Murder (Prime Video)
Look at
You might not think of first-class video as a go-to for bingable true crime series but One night in Idaho: the college -murder is not one that should miss.
In November 2022, four students from the University of Idaho were mortally stabbed in an off-campus residence, with suspected Bryan Christopher Kohberger sentenced to four consecutive life judge earlier this month.
Instead of being a sensationalist, this documentary is a sore study of who the four students were and shows how their families and friends of have treated or continue to deal with their grief. – – JV
