John Goodman has finally talked about the shocking damage to SET.
In March, the actor suffered an injury while filming the upcoming Tom Cruise movie, which made him undergo an emergency surgery.
Talking with The Hollywood Reporter, Goodman said, “It was a real accident.”
“I was wearing stocking feet, as if I had been the last week and a half. I passed empty and my legs went straight to the floor and I got up parallel to the ground and landed on my hip,” he explained.
Adding, “I tried to get up again, and when I couldn’t do it, I began to fear the worst. I didn’t know I had broken it until we got x -rays.”
It is worth mentioning that Goodman is working with Tom Cruise on an Untitled movie described as an action-adventure comedy about the most powerful man in the world.
Goodman called the on-set doctor “brilliantly” and revealed that he hurried him to Cleveland Clinic’s London location.
“So far, so good. Unfortunately, I was down for about a month where I couldn’t do anything, and it drove me nuts,” he added.
In particular, John Goodman noticed that the movie “found other things to do” until he “got back into it.”
The Untitled Project of Tom Cruise will be released in October 2026.
