Jodie Sweetin just admitted that she has fully embraced her inheritance and is “okay” with being attached to Full house forever.
In a talk with PEOPLE magazine to promote her recently released lifetime film, Dateless to Dangerous: My son’s secret life, The 34-year-old American actress and TV personality talked about her character Stephanie Tanner in Full house.
Sweetin also revealed that she felt personal fulfillment while portraying Tanner in the Netflix — the successor, Fuller House, Since it played a key role in rule her career.
She formulated her thoughts and said, “I want to be Stephanie Tanner forever. And I’ve come to be really okay with it in the last 20 years.”
Sweetin added, “I went away from the company at one point in the late 20s and worked in other areas and I was absolutely fine. I was happy. I would have continued with it, but getting the chance to come back and make Fuller and bring Stephanie back to life was amazing and wonderful.”
The To find Santa Star said, “It also gave me the opportunity to do other things because I think people were finally like,” oh, you’re an adult now. “
Sweetin noted that being a child star can make it difficult for people to see you in other roles and mentioned that even actors like Ron Howard, Dakota Fanning and Jodie Foster experienced this.
“For a while, people only think you are able to the thing they have come to see you as,” Love under the rainbow Actress said.
